Our Community

Dawoodi Bohras began settling in Adelaide around the 1980s, attracted by its affordable cost of living and reputed educational institutions. Adelaide is renowned as a cultural hub with a strong multi-cultural ethos and a thriving local industry, which offers many opportunities for growth. Part of the city’s appeal is the balance it offers between busy urban life and the relaxed pace of a rural town.

Now, more than 30 years onwards, the city is host to a thriving community of Bohras who continue to benefit from its vibrant milieu and actively contribute to the development of its local communities and neighbourhoods.
