Our community centre is located in Jandakot and serves as the primary venue for all of our cultural and community activities, bringing together members on a regular basis.

Families live throughout greater Perth, including neighbourhoods along the Swan River and across the northern and southern suburbs, creating a network of connections across the city.

The Dawoodi Bohra presence in Perth began in the early 1970s. More families arrived in the 1990s as students and skilled professionals, laying the foundation for today’s vibrant, multigenerational community. Guided by the values of hard work, education, and enterprise, our members are proud to contribute to the city’s cultural and professional landscape.

Our members work across a range of professions, including medicine, education, engineering, business, and caregiving.

We actively engage in outreach initiatives, providing healthcare services and resources to underserved neighbourhoods. Partnering with Foodbank WA, The Haven, the Salvation Army, and OzHarvest, our volunteers contribute to food-security programs and holiday toy drives. In times of crisis—such as bushfire emergencies—our members mobilise quickly to offer support, reflecting our long-standing commitment to compassion and solidarity.
