Updated 17/03/2019: In the wake of the horrific terror attacks that shook Christchurch, a community camp was setup in the vicinity of the attacks in order to provide support and nourishment to those that were affected. Members of the Dawoodi Bohra community residing in Christchurch lent a hand to this effort by providing foodstuffs as well as other necessities inspired by the Prophetic tradition which exhorts Muslims to come to the aid of their brothers in their time of need.


16/03/2019: Members of the Dawoodi Bohra community participated in a vigil at Auckland’s Aotea Square joining thousands of other fellow New Zealanders in offering their prayers for the victims of Friday’s horrific terrorist attack in Christchurch and their condolences and support to the victims’ families and loved ones.
